It was fun to experiment and use different accessibility features on WordPress this week. I think something that is most unused in terms of accessibility is the alt text for the image I included. I was not familiar with this feature and Rich explained it is useful for people who are blind using a software that reads what is on the screen and when this alt text feature i used it is able to accurately describe the image included on the screen. Considering I have just learned about this feature it is something I have missed when creating my own blog posts. I am curious if social media applications such as instagram have this same feature that can be used.
