This week I had planned to make some polymer clay magnets, but I ended up changing my mind. I decided to make a small figurine of a fried egg. I thought it was funny and cute, and was considering gifting it to my sister because she likes quirky things.

The process of making this figurine was very enjoyable and simple. When the clay was done baking, I realized I did not have a yellow paint and had to do some mixing, but I think the colour turned out really well! Maybe next week I will make bacon…

I also found that many of my peers and family members were asking me what polymer clay was when I told them about this project. Luckily I made an info-graph on Canva for our reflection post this week and I attached it here. I think it will be a good quick reference for the future if I use polymer clay with my classroom!
